Food Triggers Body Odor

Jakarta - Body odor is not pleasant indeed often disturb us. However many ways you can do to overcome it. One of them, avoid foods that are claimed as a trigger.

Well, here are foods you should limit to prevent body odor:

Tobacco
Cigarette smoke mingled with other elements and out through the sweat glands will cause a distinctive odor. Even after quitting smoking, the smell will stay in your body within weeks.

Onion
Garlic and onions are often considered as the cause of unpleasant body odor. This assumption is not wrong, because two food condiment has a sulfurous volatile substances. This substance remains attached to hold the onion smell for hours after eating.

Alcohol & Caffeine
Although alcohol and caffeine (coffee, tea, chocolate, soda, etc.) has become a habit, by limiting these drinks, your body will feel more fresh and odorless.

Choline
Foods rich in choline provide can make your sweat smell like fish. Some people, who can not digest these foods easily, "smells fishy." Examples of such foods are eggs, liver, fish, and nuts.

Low Carbohydrate
Cutting the carbs lead to excess intake of protein rich foods. It can help burn fat in the body. However, this process releases ketones into your bloodstream that makes your sweat smell bad.

Turmeric
Turmeric also contains volatile compounds released our body through sweat. These compounds are absorbed by the blood and lungs after digestion, so not only cause body odor but also bad breath odor.
