Shares on Mining and CPO Recommended

VIVAnews - Shares that are likely not affected by the rise in inflation rate may be collected by investors today, Feb 1.

Andrew Sihar, Head of Research at PT Reliance Securities Tbk recommends buy on state gas company PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGAS), for the firm is insensitive toward the inflation rate. "In addition, it is technically expected to gain," he told VIVAnews.

He went on to say that such positive sentiments as gas demand and transmission are on the horizon, "not to mention the rapid development in steam-based power plant projects," said Andrew.

An analyst at CIMB Group Mastono Ali suggested that shares on commodities like mining and crude palm oil be acquired.

Current world CPO prices are now at US$1,244 per ton, 2.95 percent increase compared to previous prices at the Rotterdam market. Meanwhile, coal prices at the New Castle market are at US$122.98 per ton..
